I received notice that I was admitted to membership in the American College of Equine Attorneys.  And I already have next year's 27th Annual National Conference on Equine Law in Lexington, KY on the calendar!  I met many new colleagues and friends last year, and look forward to going back.

Following the Kentucky Equine Law Conference, I recently joined the American Horse Council.

Florida carriage driving

While it is not yet on-line at www.floridatrend.com, on page 14 of the June 2011 hardcopy edition of Florida Trend are two short articles ("Horse-Drawn" and "Carriage History") about carriage driving.  This is yet another very interesting segment of our Florida equine community.

P.S.  We now have a new German Sport Pony, and our daughter did her first "A" show at Post Time in Ocala with him.  Reserve Champion.  A wonderful weekend.
