Day 2 of the National Conference on Equine Law

Today is day 2 of the National Conference on Equine Law in Lexington, KY.  (Next year will be at Keeneland.)   The sessions concern tax, cloning, "The Derby", litigation, ethics (I am on that panel), insurance, and racing stewards.

Thank you.

More from the National Conference on Equine Law

An employment law update was presented.  At this moment a panel discussion entitled "Race-Day Medication Bans and the Legal Issues Surrounding Them" is ongoing.

The lunch speaker will give a Breeder' Cup update.

By-the-way (and on a personal note), I am enjoying "catching up" with equine lawyer friends from around the country.

Thank you.

2012 National Conference on Equine Law

Today and tomorrow I am attending the National Conference on Equine Law.  This is an excellent opportunity to stay current on "horse law".  In fact, currently there is an extensive national case law update.

Also, this Conference involves a great group of lawyers.

More to come as the Conference unfolds.
